French Provincial Dresser Set

My newest clients, Samantha and her hubby, are moving into their new house and are in need of a new look and style for their new digs. Samantha wants to mix old with new and bring in pops of color. One piece she recently had done is a cute little green side table.
For her bedroom she wants to keep the furniture clean, crisp and classic so she decided to go with white.
BEFORE
AFTER

I think these pieces look so classic and beautiful.
I used Swiss Coffee and used my homemade chalk paint recipe, very lightly distressed, added new glass knobs and sealed with wax.

What do you think of classic white pieces?
Love them em' or hate em'?

    1. Thanks! I sure hope so. I'm hoping to get photos of her bedroom soon. Everything in her bedroom is white but we are adding old distressed doors as a headboard and a pop of orange with a mirror. Super cute room!!!

  6. Beautiful work. A question about the glass knobs. Did you use bolts to attach them? I don't see screw-heads in the close-up. Would love to find a tall dresser like that!

    1. Hi! No, I go them from Lowe's and they come with a pin you put in the center and then you use a screw as normal. Here is a link to the knob on Lowe's website...http://www.lowes.com/pd_253493-81227-PN0238V-CLR-C7_4294777204__?productId=3028490&Ns=p_product_avg_rating|1

  7. Helen this set is AMAZING!!! It's soooo beautiful! I don't know why your posts aren't coming up in my feed, I missed out on these and that beautiful green table! I was feeling so uninspired about using up some of my old white paint on a dresser I'm doing but I'm totally re-inspired :) These look so elegant and classic, just gorgeous!

  12. I love the white...I don't think you can ever go wrong with either white or black. I am curious...was the top of this set laminate? It sort of appears so in the first picture. I have not had the nerve to use chalk paint on laminate yet, but I see a lot of people do!

    Amazing job on this set!

    1. Thank you so much! I'm not sure if it was laminate but it had two layers of something on it. I sanded the top of the long dresser because it would be so visable. Even though I use homemade chalk paint I still sand or use a primer on certain areas.
      Thanks for stopping by!

  18. Great you Are happy

I've got one myself because like 10 decades. I enjoy it as well, not modded as yours however.

At this time it doesn't operate, it chokes if warm. Brought into some neigbour of mine and he will get a deeper look at it.

It feels like a few have had difficulty using the automatic decompression valve, so does yours have this?

    Have a fantastic day!
